Dual pot sand filter is used to remove sand and other solid particles from oil and gas well effluent to prevent abrasion of downstream equipment.Typical applications for the unit include completed clean-up and maximum sand-free tests. Dual pot sand filter is typically located at the downstream of the wellhead and upstream of the choke manifold.Dual pot sand filter consists of two filter pots, one manifold and one sand jetting system. The frame-mounted pots have lifting support for convenient filter replacement. Both of two pots can be on stream at the same time. Normally, one vessel is in use, another is being cleaned by sand jetting system.One of the most important parts is sand screen, which can be made to 100, 200 and 500 meshes.
