Well Head X-mas Tree consists of chokes, valves and spools. It is used to monitor well pressure, adjust oil/gas well flow and prevent the release of hazardous liquid and gas from entering into air or water during testing and oil & gas production. Additional functions of X-Mas tree include pressure relief, chemical injection, a conduit for control systems to monitor and control safety valves in down-hole.
